Suicide Prevention & Sudden Death
The sudden and unexpected death of a loved one is difficult and often doesn’t make sense. There is no right way to react to a sudden loss and there is no timeline for the grieving process.
Cochrane Victim Services assists the RCMP and helps provide support at the time of a sudden death. Victim Service advocates provide emotional support and assistance until loved ones can be supported by family or friends. Advocates can provide information on the process that immediately follows a death.
